Morgan grew up roaming the Coastal Ranges of Northern California which instilled in him a sense of awe and a desire for the landscape to persist for future generations. He has worked as a Field Technician for the California Condor Restoration Program, an archaeologist in the Aleutians and as a general contractor. In 2019 Morgan was the Stephen J. Barnhart intern and studied the Pacific Giant Salamanders found at Pepperwood. He enjoyed the internship so much that he jumped at the opportunity to become Pepperwood’s Field Technician for the Wildlife Conservation Board’s Streamflow Enhancement Project taking place at Pepperwood and French Meadows in the Sierra’s.
