The Pepperwood Vascular Flora contains a great overview of Pepperwood's vegetation communities and includes a record of plant species that have been documented on the preserve and where they are commonly found.
iNaturalist.org is a cloud-based biodiversity database that empowers nature enthusiasts to upload photos of species they’ve encountered. Biologists can help identify your discoveries and may even use them in their research! Tips: it’s quick, easy and free to make an account, be sure to include GPS coordinates with your photo whenever possible, and there are smartphone apps (for both Andriod and iOS) to make uploading observations even easier.
Calflora.org has a wealth of information about the wild plants found in our region, including many beautiful photos to help you identify them in the field.
