Pepperwood Summer Camp
Calling all explorers, ages 10-13! Let’s spend the week together making each day an adventure in the great outdoors at Pepperwood! Guided by our experienced staff Environmental Educators, campers will spend each day exploring the grasslands, forests, and ponds of our 3,200 acre preserve. We will practice hiking skills including navigating with maps and compasses, safety, and leave no trace principles. Every day we will get to know more of the plants and animals that call this region home – searching for tracks and signs and learning to identify the flora and fauna we find. We will also enjoy art projects, nature journaling, and fun games! Campers will leave this week with new friendships, confidence in the outdoors, and a deepened love for nature. TeenNat Conservation Science Internship
Pepperwood’s TeenNat immerses teens in science and nature on our 3,200 acre preserve, where they meet scientists, participate in real biodiversity research and learn about careers in science. The five-week summer internship begins in July. Applications for the 28 available intern positions are accepted through April each year. Teens are selected based on their application materials. There is no cost for the internship. To learn more about TeenNat, view key dates, or download an application, please click here.
