Fire Mitigation & Forest Health Workshops

Translating what we learn at Pepperwood into usable stewardship practices for our community is one of our main objectives for our work around Fire Mitigation and Forest Health. We integrate Pepperwood’s applied science and management activities into one unified approach for forest management and demonstrate best practices on the preserve. As a 3,200-acre laboratory for science and stewardship, we leverage Pepperwood’s role in research, outreach, collaborations, and technical advising to build coordinated resilience throughout our region.
