2:00pm – 4:00pm
$20 per person, $15 for Friends of Pepperwood
Meet at the Barn
Ages 13 and up welcome
Join Pepperwood’s knowledgeable volunteers and staff for a leisurely wander through our vibrant springtime meadows, where they will share amazing botanical details and help you become acquainted with what is blooming. This wildflower walk will cover less than .5 mile, over mostly flat terrain (no elevation gain) at a slow pace. We will be walking mostly off trail through the meadows, so there may be some uneven footing.
You could also consider making a day out of it, by also signing up for our “Wildflower Hike – Forest and Ridge” in the morning (11am-1pm) on this date to start your day with a different walk, and then bring your lunch to enjoy before this event. This would allow you to visit two different locations for wildflowers (if there is space available).
Since flowers remain closed up on rainy days, rain will cancel. All events will align with the current Sonoma County and state health orders and guidelines for group activities to keep everyone safe during COVID-19. In case of cancellation due to weather or health safety measures, refunds will be offered. This event will be limited to a small group of participants per current group gathering requirements. Masks and social distancing will be required. Our bathroom facilities are sanitized before and after visitor groups.Back To All Events
