MEMBERS’ EVENT: Gathering with Native Advisory Council

Friday, November 2, 2018, 5pm – 6:30pm

Exclusively for Pepperwood Members

As a Pepperwood member, you’re invited to join us for an exclusive conversation and informal gathering with our Native Advisory Council. Meet with Clint McKay, Lucy McKay, and Brenda Flyswithhawks for an intimate discussion around the role of the Council, Native relationships with the land, and Pepperwood’s Black Oak Project. Enjoy sweeping views as you take in the sunset, followed by a lite fare of Native-inspired dishes.

This gathering will be held outdoors, a short walk from the Dwight Center.

If you’d like to attend, please RSVP to Sloane Shinn, Community Associate, at sshinn@pepperwoodpreserve.org, or (707) 591-9310 x 133.

Please stay after the gathering to learn more at our Discover Nature lecture, beginning at 7pm. Cultural Resources Coordinator Ben Benson will present on Deep Environmental Consciousness: An Exploration of Native Cultures and Traditional Land Management in the Americas (click here for more about the lecture).

Thank you for your support—and we hope to see you there!

This event is offered exclusively for our members, whose investments are vital to our success. If you would like to become a member or learn more about our membership program please click the link below.
