9am – 3pm
Meet at the Dwight Center
$30 per participant ($25 for members)
Ages 13 and up welcome
Join historical ecologist Arthur Dawson and local storyteller Greg Damron for a day journeying through the fascinating stories of Pepperwood’s history. Experience the property through the eyes of those who knew this land in the decades and centuries past. We’ll visit old homestead sites, hear early descriptions, check out historical maps, and consider what changed, and is still changing, as the Pepperwood lands are stewarded in new ways. This class will take place in the classroom and in the field, including a moderate 1-3 mile hike.
