Meet at the Dwight Center

Ages 13 and up welcome
Spend the day at Pepperwood exploring the benefits and how-tos of gardening with native plants! Led by a team of experts from the Milo Baker Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, this workshop will give you the knowledge and skills you need to nurture a garden that provides both beauty and habitat. Hear about favorite native plants for Sonoma County gardens, learn the implications of Sudden Oak Death, and choose from break out sessions focused on either designing your own native plant garden or tricks of the trade for propagation. Depending on which break out sessions you choose to participate in, you will either walk away with a design plan for your garden or a native plant which you propagated! The day will conclude with tours of Pepperwood’s native plant garden and the option to carpool to tour the garden of a private residence located on the preserve.Back To All Events
