Meet at the Dwight Center

Join us for this special evening as we celebrate how your support has helped us accomplish our strategic goals over the last five years, followed by a spring equinox sunset hike.

This evening will begin with hearing presentations from Pepperwood staff, who will share about the inspiring impact we have been able to achieve together since 2020.

Following this presentation, you are invited to join us in celebrating the start of spring with a sunset hike & picnic:

The vernal equinox marks the transition between the winter and spring seasons, where the days will become markedly longer and warmer and our landscape comes to life.  Soak up the early spring sights including wildflowers, verdant green hills, and birds returning from their winter migrations. Our hike will take us to a beautiful vista, where we will create quiet space for a moment of reflection – offering the option to partake in a journaling prompt to mark the changing of the seasons.  Here we will enjoy a picnic, including provided refreshments, along with the sunset before returning back along the trail.

This special event is open to Pepperwood’s Friends of Pepperwood Circle+ members. Not yet in our Friends Circle? Join today!

Ease of Access/Hike level: The opening presentation portion of this event will be held at a facility with ADA accessible bathrooms. This event includes an optional moderate level hike of approximately 3 miles. This includes traveling on an established trail over varied terrain with inclines and uneven surfaces. The route may include climbing a 4-step ladder “fence-hopper”.

Weather & Cancellations: This event will go on in light rain, but heavier storms will cancel. In the case of a cancellation, anyone who has RSVPed will get an email notification, and this event page will be updated with the information.
