Join our experienced environmental education staff for this fun and informative walk designed specifically for families with kids. We will explore Pepperwood’s unique habitats and stop frequently to touch, discover, and learn about the many amazing plants and animals we find. Together we will celebrate the signs of spring, from colorful wildflowers to busy pollinators. This will be an easy walk of no more than 1.5 miles at a slow pace.

Backpacks are welcome, but no strollers please. It will go on in light rain, though heavier rain will cancel. All events will align with the current Sonoma County and state health orders and guidelines for group activities to keep everyone safe during COVID-19. In case of cancellation due to weather or health safety measures, refunds will be offered. This event will be limited to a small group of participants. Masks (except for children under 2 years old) and social distancing will be required. Our bathroom facilities are sanitized before and after visitor groups.
