Why have there been so many hurricanes lately? What’s going on with ocean acidification? Join us in conversation with Dr. Jeff Dorman, Executive Director, of the Farallon Institute as we explore the state of the oceans. Find out how climate change is affecting organisms in the ocean now, what the projections hold for the future, and what is happening locally to our fisheries off Northern California.
Farallon Institute scientists study the atmosphere, oceans, and the complex marine food web from phytoplankton to whales. They have a broad understanding of ocean ecology and are experts at understanding the latest scientific research and communicating what it all means to engaged community members.Back To All Events
