Join Pepperwood for a fun, family-friendly day exploring nature! Take in beautiful wildflower displays on family nature walks, build a bird box, make nature crafts, get your face painted, and enjoy delicious food from the El Coyote taco truck. You can also visit with live insects thanks to our friends at Sonoma State University Biology Outreach! Come and see our beautiful wildlife, and enjoy some family fun out in nature and in our science classroom.
Throughout the day you can visit our new Gallery exhibit of Pepperwood landscape paintings entitled The Place of Understanding by Sonoma County artist Christopher Leith Evans. Click here to learn more about this exhibit and to watch a four minute short film about Christopher Evans and his experience as Pepperwood’s Artist-in-Residence.
Day of the Child • Día Del Niño will also be celebrated at 11 other sites around Sonoma County! Learn more at www.sonomacountyee.org.
