Over the past three years, the Environmental Education Pathways Project (EEPP), part of the Sonoma Environmental Education Collaborative, has worked alongside selected Title I schools across the County. Through this initiative, the EEPP builds customized pathways for environmental learning. Specifically, it connects schools with a rich network of environmental education providers in the area. This connection delivers coordinated, progressive, hands-on experiences that advance with students at each grade level.

Pepperwood is proud to serve 23 elementary classes through our SCENIQ (Students Conducting Environmental Education) program as part of this innovative and impactful project.

Join us on May 7 from 5:30–7:00 pm at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Foundation to celebrate EEPP’s achievements and show your support for environmental education. The evening will feature a poster session highlighting school and project outcomes. There will also be a panel discussion with educators and environmental education partners. Participants will have opportunities to connect with others who care about the future of environmental learning in our region. In addition, we will share exciting news about a new $1.9 million challenge grant! This grant will support the next phase of this work and sustain this collaborative effort in the years to come.
