The After the Fire USA 2022 Wildfire Leadership Summit included 126 organizations and 168 people, and convened for three days. The topics covered were many, but emphasis was on supporting fire-affected communities. Pepperwood CEO and President, Lisa Micheli served on a panel discussing pre-fire monitoring, research, and stewardship – where she shared the nature-based resiliency solutions that Pepperwood has been cultivating in the wake of two wildfires. She also discussed Pepperwood’s more than a decade-worth of scientific data on climate and ecosystems to inform our strategies moving forward.

We were honored to attend alongside nearly every wildfire community since 2015 across California, Colorado and Oregon represented.
