Pepperwood’s President & CEO Dr. Lisa Micheli presented at the Bay Area Open Space Council‘s sold-out Gathering on November 16, 2017 in Berkeley, CA. This event brought together conservation and community leaders from throughout the region to discuss the impacts of last month’s wildfires and solutions for moving forward.

Lisa shared what we know so far about the fire’s impacts at Pepperwood, and how our 5+ years of pre-fire biological monitoring data will be used for comparison with post-fire monitoring to gain critical insights into fire ecology and the effectiveness of our land management strategies.
