The Press Democrat published a Close to Home piece by Pepperwood President Dr. Lisa Micheli on the health of the Russian River and her thoughts on the recent Russian River Independent Science Review Panel meeting. Click here to read Lisa’s article.
Lisa is raising awareness of Russian River health through her participation in the Russian River Headwaters to Ocean Descent, a 10-day, multi-leg paddling expedition uniting leaders of the many organizations working to protect the river and the vital services it provides. She paddled the second leg from Cloverdale to Forestville from September 7-9th. Read about Lisa’s experience here.
