Exploring science and awakening a sense of awe around the natural world

Pepperwood's Students Conducting Environmental Inquiry (SCENIQ) program brings science to life for over 900 area elementary school students each year. Children explore our 3,200 acre preserve during two visits—one in the fall and another in the spring—discovering natural habitats and the amazing creatures that call them home. A Pepperwood educator visits their classroom during the winter to enhance science learning and continue the thread of the program. This page highlights the experiences of students in our SCENIQ program.

Take it from them!  Listen to what our young scientists have to say about their experience.
